Day 1 (Wed)


Join the Indian Pacific in Sydney. Be welcomed aboard by our friendly staff who will give you a brief overview of the journey and be more than happy to assist with any questions you have. Settle in as you venture beyond the city limits or unwind into the Outback Explorer Lounge and meet fellow travellers whilst enjoying a refreshment or two. Make your way through to the Queen Adelaide Restaurant for dinner and satisfy your appetite with one of the Indian Pacific’s signature menu items. (D)

Day 2 (Thur)


Explore Broken Hill during an early morning Off Train Excursion, discover the mining history that makes the town what it is today. Back onboard, head to the Queen Adelaide Restaurant and tuck into a traditional cooked breakfast, or choose from a range of lighter options. By lunch time, you will have crossed into South Australia, travelling through the southern tip of the Flinders Ranges. What better way to compliment the stunning scenery than digging into beautifully prepared local produce? Upon arrival in Adelaide, you will be transferred to the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide. Day 3 (Fri)


Spend a day discovering the delights of Adelaide, soak up the city’s beauty in the spacious green parklands, venture into the bustling Adelaide Central Markets or stroll through the museums and libraries along North Terrace. (B)

Day 4 (Sat)


Enjoy a picturesque journey through the Adelaide Hills as you travel to Strathalbyn and Goolwa with a brief chance to explore the country towns. Travel onto Victor Harbor, South Australia’s popular seaside town, wander at your leisure through the main street, explore Granite Island and enjoy a three course lunch at Hotel Victor. Venture to the wine making region of McLaren Vale, sample the fresh local produce including cheese, wine and chocolates or grab a coffee at one of the many cafés. Enjoy a scenic drive through the southern metropolitan beaches before returning to your Adelaide accommodation. (B,L)

Day 5 (Sun)


Travel to South Australia’s premium wine region, the Barossa and enjoy a food and wine journey. The first stop is TeAro Estate for wine tasting, an absolute must whilst visiting the Barossa. Continue to Angaston for a delicious two-course lunch and wine tasting at Lambert Estate. The final stop for the day will be Pindarie, a multi-tourism award winning cellar door, will be a great end to your Barossa experience. (B)

Day 6 (Mon)


This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel. (B)
