You will leave the train in Two Wells to embark on your journey of the senses. Travel past flat farm lands before arriving at the picturesque rolling hills of the Barossa Ranges which overlook a colourful patchwork of vineyards, dotted with historic churches, stone buildings and cottages beckoning you to explore.
The hospitality of the local community is memorable from the warm welcome of a cellar door, to the friendly hello and the many stories to be told by the locals the Barossa Valley will welcome you.
As a Platinum guests you will visit Rockford Winery where wine is crafted, not created. Enjoy a private tour of the original Stone Buildings and the vintage shed, and see the equipment which dates back to the pioneer era.
Learn about Rockford’s history and the winery’s traditional basket press wine making process followed by a private tasting. Venture on to Yalumba Winery where you will enjoy a private wine tasting hosted in the Family Tasting Room before joining remaining guests for pre-dinner drinks in the Cooperage. Here a wine Ambassador will take you through the cooperage process. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner served in the enchanting Signature Cellar, where you can sit back, relax and enjoy a glass or two with new friends you have made. Travel back to Adelaide by coach to re-join the Indian Pacific to continue your journey to Perth.
